We work to stabilize families in crisis.

The Caring Center in Lebanon, Indiana  works to stabilize families in crisis and to move those caught in poverty towards self-sufficiency. We’re a non-profit community service organization assisting others struggling financially. We are a needs based organization, and participation in our programs is based on assessment of needs.

We have many programs to accommodate the needs of our community.

We help families and individuals living in situational and generational poverty and those who are food insecure. Services that are available at the Caring Center include food, clothing, personal care items, household items, furniture, food and educational classes, and many more services to families and individuals in need. We don’t discriminate based on ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, gender, age, or nationality. We are the umbrella organization for programs helping the needy of Boone County, Indiana.

We have a lot of great opportunities coming up this Holiday Season. Check them out here.

"Numerous programs assist our clients, but these opportunities are available only through the involvement of our patrons and volunteers. We need you to be part of the solution to hunger and poverty by getting involved and serving our neighbors with the Caring Center.”
