Caring Center Food Pantry Needs – March 2024

“We serve hundreds of needy families and individuals annually.”

The needs list has been updated as of 02/29/2024: Donations can be dropped off at our drop off locations during normal business hours, or you can purchase online (using your favorite online shopping method) and ship directly to The Caring Center (1230 Ransdell Court, Lebanon, IN 46052). OR, you can make a donation online

COVID-19 Safety Policy & Plan

We are seeing families in the food pantry with these guidelines:

  • Take a number from the roll and watch for number to light up in window.
  • Only one person in building per family (no children are allowed in the building at this time).
Deliveries to Elderly and Sick in Lebanon

The Caring Center will do deliveries to the sick and elderly living within the city limits of Lebanon once a month on the first and fourth Wednesdays of the month (but exceptions may be made for emergency situations). Deliveries will take place from noon-2 pm on Wednesdays, and the boxed food will be left at the front door (the volunteer will not enter the home). Orders for the pre-boxed food must be placed by the end of day (2 pm) on the Monday before by calling The Caring Center at 765-482-2020.

Boone County Senior Mobile Food Pantry – 3rd Tuesday of Every Month

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, Inc. in partnership with The Caring Center is providing a once a month mobile food pantry open to all seniors age 55 and over on the 3rd Tuesday of each month 11am-1pm or while supplies last.

A food drive is a way for a group to collect items for the families that are at risk of hunger.

A group typically collects non-perishables, such as canned goods, and boxed items from the community. This is a simple yet practical community service initiative.
