The Caring Center is a Multi-Program, Not-For-Profit Community Organization in Boone County, Indiana.
"If you eat what you cultivate, it's as close to farm-to-table as you can get."
The Community Gardens were started in 2004 on a plot of land adjacent to Central Christian Church in Lebanon. An onsite garden was started in 2006 at The Caring Center and is managed by Boone County Master Gardeners. All produce is distributed through the Food Pantry at The Caring Center.
How You Can Help
A Small $20 Donation Will Feed a Child for Seven Days.
- Help harvest the onsite garden.
- Plant an extra row in your garden and donate produce.
Plots may be purchased for $20. Please contact The Caring Center to purchase a plot or for more information on how to get involved.
