Let me begin with a big THANK YOU! Your overwhelming outpouring of compassion and giving in 2021 has deeply touched me and many of your neighbors living here in Boone County. Research shows 89 percent of what people learn comes through visual stimulation; 10 percent through audible stimulation and one percent through other senses: What they hear they understand, and what they see they believe. What I have seen in 2021 enables me to believe we live in a world full of love, hope, and empathy.
Because of your generous giving, we were able to service several Boone County residents throughout the year, especially at Thanksgiving with our food baskets, and at Christmas through food baskets and our Teen Giving Tree. Thank you to all of our supporters–both individuals and local businesses and organizations.
You never know someone’s story. You never know what they’ve been through that has led them to The Caring Center. What I’m most thankful for are the lives that have been touched during these challenging times and your continued support. Happy 2022!
